Yoka System
What is the Yoka System?
The Yoka System is a unique bodywork practice that integrates breath, movement, and awareness, grounded in the body's natural structure. Drawing inspiration from yoga, physiotherapy, breathwork, and Eastern wisdom, it offers a holistic approach that encompasses not just the body but also the mind and spirit. At its core, Yoka aims to help individuals align with their true nature—achieving a rhythm of life that resonates with their innate essence.
Developed by Kazım Gürbüz, known as Yogi Kazım, the Yoka System is the culmination of his profound exploration of the body since the 1960s. Following a severe accident, he reconnected with his body in a transformative way, leading to the creation of this system that has since brought healing to thousands.
Yoka goes beyond targeting muscles or flexibility. Each movement centers on the spine, engaging the entire nervous system. This comprehensive approach fosters not only physical well-being but also mental clarity and emotional balance.Practices involve guided breathing and conscious, controlled movements, enabling individuals to gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

Components of the Yoka System
The Yoka System includes five main practices:
Yoka Series
The foundation of the system, the Yoka Series, comprises approximately 50 movements performed in a consistent sequence. These exercises engage nearly all joints, muscles, and connective tissues. With thousands of variations developed, the series is accessible to individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
Yoka Therapy
Yoka Therapy offers adapted sequences from the Yoka Series tailored to address specific health concerns. It is particularly beneficial for musculoskeletal issues and also supports cardiovascular health and concentration. Conditions such as postural disorders, scoliosis, ankylosing spondylitis, kyphosis, and herniated discs can be effectively managed through this approach.
